01General

CM Micro Finance is an NBFC-MFI that lends to self-help groups, women entrepreneurs, farmers, small traders and salaried individuals across Tamil Nadu, with doorstep collection built around real income cycles rather than a fixed monthly pay date.

We operate over 100 branches across Tamil Nadu, with a strong presence in Dharmapuri, Salem and Krishnagiri districts, and are expanding into neighbouring districts each year.

Yes. We operate as an NBFC-MFI under RBI-guided micro finance practices, with audited annual disclosures and a published, ISO 9001:2015 certified lending process.

02Eligibility & Documents

Most applicants aged 21–58 with a verifiable local address and a steady source of income — whether from farming, trade, a small business, or a salaried job — are eligible. SHG members are assessed with their group's collective standing as well.

A government photo ID (Aadhaar/Voter ID), address proof, two passport-size photos, and — where applicable — group endorsement or income proof. Our field officer will confirm the exact list for your loan type at the first visit.

Yes — Personal, Business and Vehicle loans can all be applied for individually. Group / SHG loans specifically require a registered self-help group of at least 5 members.

03Interest & Fees

Rates range from 11% p.a. for Group/SHG loans up to 15% p.a. for Business loans, reviewed quarterly against market benchmarks. Your exact rate is confirmed in writing before you sign.

No. Every processing fee, insurance premium and documentation charge is listed on a single sanction letter upfront — nothing is deducted later without your knowledge.

We use a reducing-balance method on most loan products, meaning interest is charged only on the outstanding principal, not the original sanctioned amount.

04Repayment

Daily, weekly, or monthly doorstep collection — chosen to match your income pattern, whether that's a market day, a harvest cycle, or a monthly salary.

Your field officer will reschedule the visit within the same week. Persistent missed payments may attract a late fee, disclosed upfront in your sanction letter, and will be flagged to your group in the case of an SHG loan.

Yes, at any point after the first three installments, with no prepayment penalty on Personal and Group/SHG loans. A small foreclosure charge applies to Business and Vehicle loans — ask your branch officer for the exact figure.

05Support

Every borrower receives their field officer's direct number at disbursement. You can also call our head office line or message us on WhatsApp and we'll connect you.

Yes — every branch has Tamil and English support desks open six days a week, and all sanction documents can be explained in Tamil before you sign.

Write to cmmicrofinancedpi@gmail.com or raise it with your branch manager directly. Unresolved complaints are escalated to our head office grievance officer within 3 working days.
